CAMP PATRIOT, Kuwait—Participants of Engineer Week gather in front of an Assault Breaching Vehicle (ABV). Its purpose is to clear pathways through minefields. The other vehicle (right, rear) is called the Buffalo, and is used in route clearance missions. The arm on the Buffalo is used to investigate any suspected or located improvised explosive devices (IED's). The arm also allows Soldiers to safely destroy any located IED's. The 40th Brigade Engineer Battalion (BEB), hosted Engineer Week, from April 9-13. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Tina Villalobos)
