I Corps officially kicked off its 2018 Best Warrior Competition May 14 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. One of the first day's events includes an inspection of the competing Soldiers TA-50, which are items of clothing and individual equipment issued to them. If the Soldier fails to produce the inspectable item it will count against their overall score. Here, 1st Lt. Michael Sorensen, Headquarters & Headquarters Detachment, 502nd Military Intelligence Battalion, 201st Expeditionary Military Intelligence Brigade, points to a piece of his TA-50 for the inspector to verify.
