Evans ACH kicked off Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention month by hosting the 4th Annual First Responders Training for Healthcare Providers Mar. 27 in Cochrane Hall. Victim advocates, SARCs (Sexual Assault Response Coordinators) and behavioral health team members from across Fort Carson and area Air Force bases combined with Memorial Hospital staff, Colorado Springs Police Department’s Special Victims Section and Army Criminal Investigation Command in a community partnership to build and strengthen relationships to provide sexual assault victims the best care possible.
