Aviation Ordnancemen assigned to the "Tophatters" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 14 load a 500 pound MK-82/BLU 111 general-purpose bomb onto a F/A-18E Super Hornet on the flight deck of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and embarked Carrier Air Wing 11 are deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet conducting Maritime Security Operations and supporting troops participating in Operation Enduring Freedom.
