An F/A-18A Hornet assigned to the "Red Devils" of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 232 launches off the flight deck of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and embarked Carrier Air Wing 11 are deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet conducting Maritime Security Operations and supporting troops participating in Operation Enduring Freedom.
