Brandon Evans, a Coolidge, Texas, native, measures the amount of pipe needed while the two worked on installing infrastructure of Internet lines here Aug. 15. Thompson and Evans were two of the soldiers preparing new tactical operations centers for soldiers stationed here due to the drawdown in Iraq. The work done will allow U.S. Forces–Iraq to sustain the fight by allowing the command a facility to conduct daily operations.
