NEMERSITA, Lithuania (June 4, 2018) A Romanian Marine assigned to the 307th Naval Infantry Battalion and a U.S. Marine assigned to 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, provide security during a multilateral amphibious landing during exercise Baltic Operations (BALTOPS) 2018 in Nemersita, Lithuania, June 4. BALTOPS is the premier annual maritime-focused exercise in the Baltic region and one of the largest exercises in Northern Europe enhancing flexibility and interoperability among allied and partner nations.
