BALTIC SEA (June 4, 2018) Romanian Marines assigned to the 307th Naval Infantry Battalion and U.S. Marines and Sailors assigned to Fox Company, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, line up in the well deck of the Harpers Ferry-class dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) to mount designated AAV-P7/A1 assault amphibious vehicles prior to a multilateral amphibious landing during exercise Baltic Operations (BALTOPS) 2018 in the Baltic Sea June 4. BALTOPS is the premier annual maritime-focused exercise in the Baltic region and one of the largest exercises in Northern Europe enhancing flexibility and interoperability among allied and partner nations.
