Staff Sgt. Leah G. Dorley is a logistics embarkation specialist with Marine Air Control Group 28, deployed out of Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C. Dorley, a native of Hazel Park, Mich., is currently deployed to Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, with 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward). Dorley said she remembers feeling helpless when the events of 9/11 unfolded because she was still in high school.
