Staff Sgt. Joshua Papineau, an explosive ordnance disposal team leader with the 68th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosives Company from Fort Hood, Texas, and his team member, Sgt. EOD teams are assessed on operations and associated tasks required to provide EOD support to unified land operations to eliminate and/or reduce explosive threats. The Ordnance Crucible is designed to test Soldiers’ teamwork and critical thinking skills as they apply technical solutions to real world problems improving readiness of the force.
