An instructor for the Combat Hunter course shows a sailor the proper way to use binoculars in a bright environment during the observation portion of the course at Camp Pendleton, Aug. 25. The observation exercise forced Marines to find 10 potentially harmful objects hidden in the area in a limited amount of time. Marines from Advisor Training Cell instruct Marines and sailors on techniques and tactics for enhanced profiling, combat hunting and combat tracking, enabling Marines to detect and react to dangerous situations.
