A Marine uses binoculars to scan an area during the observation portion of a Combat Hunter course led by the Advisor Training Cell at Camp Pendleton, Aug. 25. The observation exercise forced Marines to find 10 potentially harmful objects hidden in the area in a limited amount of time. Marines from ATC instruct Marines and sailors on techniques and tactics for enhanced profiling, combat hunting and combat tracking enabling Marines to detect and react to dangerous situations.
