    Crewmembers aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Active, a 210-foot medium endurance Reliance-class cutter homeported in Port Angeles, Washington, work together to get underway Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Huatulco, Mexico, during an Eastern Pacific counter-narcotics patrol. The Active crew routinely conduct operations from South America to the Bering Sea conducting defense operations , alien migrant interdiction, fisheries protection, search and rescue, and other Coast Guard missions at great distances from shore keeping threats far from U.S. mainland.
