MEDITERRANEAN SEA (June 2, 2018) Marines assigned to 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit work together to move notional ordnance during an explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) familiarization class aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS New York (LPD 21) June 2, 2018. The class is designed to educate Marines about the requirements and demands of becoming an EOD technician. U.S. 6th Fleet, headquartered in Naples, Italy, conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.
