Five hundred paratroopers from the 173rd Airborne Brigade board five C-17 Globemaster jets to be delivered to northern Italy to conduct a Joint Forcable Entry onto Juliet Drop Zone. This parachute assault called "Rock Drop" is a battalion sized seizure of contested territory is a joint operation between the 2-503rd Infantry (The Rock) supported by Italian Paratroopers.
