Each of these canisters contain 10 kilograms, about 22 pounds, of powdered steel, used in the construction process with the EOS M 400 3-D metal printer. Each container is valued at $7,000. The 3-D printer also used soft aluminum or titanium powder to construct hard to find parts or design and build tools specifically for a project at PPB, MDMC.
