YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 14, 2018) Cmdr. Kyle Hinds, assigned to Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) for Pacific Partnership 2018 (PP18), calls the intensive care unit in regards to a mock patient during a mass patient disembarkation bilateral training exercise between the United States and Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF). USNS Mercy is making port visits to Yokosuka and Tokyo to promote relationships between U.S. Navy Sailors and Japanese citizens through cultural exchange and bilateral training.
