QUANTICO, Va. - Thomas Meloni and Craig Lahote practice martial arts during Marine Corps Recruiting Command’s 2018 Educators and Key Leaders Workshop aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, June 20. The workshop establishes mutually beneficial relationships between Marine officer selection officers and educators; community leaders and educators experience an all-expense-paid trip to Quantico in efforts to develop their leadership skills and learn about career opportunities in the Marine Corps. Meloni is an assistant professor at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois. Everett is the director of student athletic development at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina.
