An expert medical panel consisting of every specialty and nation involved in Pacific Angel 2018 talk with Timorese journalists during the engagement’s media day at the Negri Saran Kote Secondary School in Suai, Cova Lima Municipality, Southwest Timor-Leste, June 14, 2018. Media days foster a closer connection with the general public and encourage increased community partnerships. The medical team saw an average of more than 500 patients a day seeking care from a range of specialties including general health, dental, physical therapy, optometry and pediatrics. Later this summer, U.S. Pacific Air Forces will conduct three additional Pacific Angels in Vietnam, Vanuatu and Sri Lanka. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Benjamin W. Stratton)
