180618-N-JU894-0018 VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (June 18, 2018) Lt. Tom Krasnicki, from Tampa, Florida, attached to the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) help preserve trees at the Lake Lawson/Lake Smith Natural Area. As a birthday tribute to the ship's namesake, and representing his famous "Thousand Points of Light" speech, approximately 1,000 GHWB crew members took part in one of the largest single-day community relation (COMREL) events at 44 different locations throughout the Hampton Roads area.
