    A drogue parachute is deployed in order to pull a pallet out the back of a Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, C-17 Globemaster III during an airdrop, May 22, 2018. Approximately 15 C-17 Globemaster III aircraft from Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, provide airdrop support for the U.S. Army's 509th Infantry Regiment, Fort Polk, Louisiana, as part of an integrated large formation readiness exercise, air dropping paratroops and critical equipment to simulate a joint forcible entry of the global response force.
