NORFOLK, Va. (June 21, 2018) — Chief Air Traffic Controller Lavese McCray, from Mt. Vernon, New York, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) operations department, places hamburger patties on a grill during Ford's command picnic at Salt Marsh Pavilion on Naval Station Norfolk. The command picnic was sponsored by Ford's Morale, Welfare and Recreation and offered Sailors an opportunity to boost camaraderie and participate in various athletic events.
