NORFOLK, Va. (June 21, 2018) — Senior Chief Sonar Technician (Surface) Paul Buckhalter, from Virginia Beach, Virginia, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) operations department, cooks hamburgers during Ford's command picnic at Salt Marsh Pavilion on Naval Station Norfolk. The command picnic was sponsored by Ford's Morale, Welfare and Recreation and offered Sailors an opportunity to boost camaraderie and participate in various athletic events.
