BANGOR, Wash. (June 21, 2018) Machinist’s Mate (Weapons) 3rd Class Thanglong Ha, from Los Angeles, California, assigned to the Gold crew of the Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine USS Nebraska (SSBN 739), mans the helm in the attack center of the Submarine Bridge Trainer (SBT) at Trident Training Facility Bangor. Nebraska is one of eight ballistic missile submarines stationed at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor and recently completed a major maintenance period, including an engineered refueling overhaul, to extend the life of the submarine.
