Key leaders with U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South; Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command; Army Support Activity - Soto Cano and Joint Task Force - Bravo cut the ribbon to celebrate the opening of a new forward deployed headquarters building for SPMAGTF-SC on Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, June 26, 2018. U.S. Marine Maj. Gen. David G. Bellon, the commander of MARFORSOUTH, visited Marines and Sailors of the SPMAGTF-SC to ensure wellness of the troops and to conduct meetings with leaders of other units deployed to the region. The Marines and sailors of SPMAGTF-SC are conducting security cooperation training and engineering projects alongside partner nation military forces in Central and South America.
