U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Varun S. Velore, a ground support equipment mechanic with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, holds a coin from Maj. Gen. David G. Bellon, the commander of U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South, after Bellon presented coins to Marines for outstanding performance on Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, June 26, 2018. Bellon visited SPMAGTF-SC to ensure wellness of the troops and to conduct meetings with leaders of other units deployed to the region. The Marines and sailors of SPMAGTF-SC are conducting security cooperation training and engineering projects alongside partner nation military forces in Central and South America.
