Hill, ISAF command sergeant major, examines equipment at the monthly ISAF Command Sergeant Major Conference at Kandahar Airfield, Sept. 10. The focus of this conference was how to maximize safety, manpower and efficiency among the units in RC-S, particularly the utilization of enablers- tools and robotics that help service members identify improvised explosive devices before they can detonate. This enabler is a PSS-14, a mine detection system that fuses metal detection and ground-penetrating radar.
