Hill, ISAF command sergeant major, listens to a description of equipment at the monthly ISAF Command Sergeant Major Conference at Kandahar Airfield Sept. 10, 2011. The focus of this conference was how to maximize safety, manpower and efficiency among the units in RC-S, particularly the utilization of enablers- tools and robotics that help service members identify improvised explosive devices before they can detonate. A series of static displays was set up by soldiers who work with the enablers on a regular basis to show the command sergeants major the effectiveness and application of their equipment.
