Retired U.S. Army Lt. Gen. James L. Terry, former U.S. Army Central commanding general (2013-2015) and the first commander of the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve, discusses current regional coalition operations at the 2018 Senior Strategy Session – Arabian Peninsula / Levant in Arlington, Va, July 11, 2018. Terry, who currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Ground Strategy for Cubic Global Defense, encouraged regional partners to acquire a shared vision through the creation of a Coalition Land Operations Center as a foundation to share intelligence, training, and communication with partner nations to ultimately defeat current and future adversaries. Over the four-day conference, speakers and participants will engage in discussions centering on the complexities and lessons learned from Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental and Multinational (JIIM) efforts during ongoing theater campaigns that have global implications.
