Col. Kevin Walker, 820th Base Defense Group (BDG) outgoing commander, renders his final salute to the 820th BDG during a change of command ceremony, July 12, 2018, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. Col. Benito Barron, 820th BDG commander, who recently relinquished his duties as the Chief of the Homeland Defense and Protection Division for Headquarters United States Northern Command, will now command the 820th BDG. The ceremony represents the formal passing of responsibility, authority and accountability of command from one officer to another.
