Nita Hackwell, environmental health technician from the Environmental Health Center, preventa-tive maintenance, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, examines a Lone Star Tick in its nymph stage of life at the environmental health center on Fort Campbell, Ky. June 4. The tick was brought in by a Fort Campbell resident, Hackwell was able to identify the tick and tell the resident what to look for prior to the disease tests coming back.
