A lone star tick under a microscope, the team at the environmental center can tell the type of tick by looking at it up close on Fort Campbell, Ky. June 4. The tick was brought in by a Fort Camp-bell resident, Nita Hackwell, environmental health technician from the Environmental Health Center, preventative maintenance, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, was able to identify the tick and tell the resident what to look for prior to the disease tests coming back.
