Louisiana’s most famous resident, the alligator, can often be spotted soaking up the sun in the bayous that are located along the Creole Nature Trail, and All-American Road located about 50 miles south of Fort Polk; one of the many outdoor activities available to Soldiers and Family members assigned to the installation.
