A player’s cleats are cover in grass and dirt during a coed practice the All-Marine Softball Teams held at the Softball Complex, Sept. 9. The Cherry Point Marines and sailors selected to compete with the All-Marine softball teams will compete against the other branches of the U.S. military in the 2011 Armed Forces Softball Tournaments in Pensacola Fla., Sept. 17-24. The six women are Capt. Dawn M. Reconnu, Chief Warrant Officer 3 Tina M. Burt, Cpl. Chantele M. Villalobos, Seaman Jamie A. McCormick, Cpl. Jacquelyn M. Kanan and Lance Cpl. Lauren C. Simms and the two men who will be competing are Chief Warrant Officer 3 Jonathan R. Cape and Petty Officer 3rd Class Bobby C. Brown.
