NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (July 19, 2018) -- Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Fuels) 3rd Class Capatra Ardoin, from San Antonio, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) air department, receives her certificate of appointment to the rank of petty officer third class from Capt. Richard McCormack, Ford’s commanding officer. Ardoin was promoted following her selection for the Meritorious Advancement Program.
