NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (July 19, 2018) -- Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Rinno Carrion-Gonzalez, from Margate, Florida, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) dental department, receives his certificate of appointment to the rank of petty officer third class from Capt. Richard McCormack, Ford’s commanding officer. Carrion-Gonzalez was promoted following his selection for the Meritorious Advancement Program.
