180719-G-ZV557-1235 PACIFIC OCEAN (July 19, 2018) Members of the Coast Guard Tactical Delivery Team (TDT) maneuver a small-boat from the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Bertholf (WMSL 750) during training operations as part of Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercises, July 19. Twenty-five nations, 46 ships and five submarines, about 200 aircraft and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC from June 27 to Aug. 2 in and around the Hawaiian Island and Southern California. The world’s largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC provides a unique training opportunity while fostering and sustaining cooperative relationships among the participants critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security on the world’s oceans.
