A contractor helps emplace 12-foot-high concrete barriers along a road in Adhamiyah, Baghdad as part of the safe neighborhoods project, May 24, 2007. The barriers were installed by the 2nd BCT, 82nd Airborne Division, in order to protect the local people by limiting insurgents' ability to enter the neighborhood and commit violence.
