Ayaka Kanzak, one of four children from The Holy Family Home in Osaka, Japan thanks Soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii July 24, at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, Honolulu, Hawaii for hosting her visit to Hawaii.
The children are visiting to continue a long-standing tradition between the battalion and the orphanage beginning shortly after World War II. During their two-week stay, the kids will get live with host-families from the battalion and partake in various recreational activities across Oahu, Hawaii.
