A U.S. Marine with 3rd Platoon, Bravo Company, 2D Combat Engineer Battalion, 2D Marine Division, holds the blast-restraint shield as a fellow Marine sets a breeching charge aboard Fort Pickett, Va., Sept. 18, 2011. The Marines used detonation cord along with C-4 explosives to conduct various breeching methods.
