    24th Marine Expeditionary Unit

    A U.S. Marine with 3rd Platoon, Bravo Company, 2D Combat Engineer Battalion, 2D Marine Division, unwinds ignition cord as he backs up to the demolition safe zone during a live breeching exercise aboard Fort Pickett, Va., Sept. 18, 2011. The Marines used detonation cord along with C-4 explosives to conduct various breeching methods. More than 900 Marines and sailors will take part in the Deployment for Training exercise at Fort Pickett, Sept. 6-23.
