Twenty-five members of the New York Army National Guard's 42nd Infantry Division visited the cemetery as part of a series of commemorative events Members of the Rainbow Division Veterans Foundation, a group which preserves the history of the division in World War I, World War II and the Iraw War, prepared the flags to be placed at the graves of Rainbow Division Soldiers.
