Sailors from the Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron 2, Boat Detachment Charlie, use an 800-series Sea Ark to conduct a patrol of the Gulf of Tadjoura, Djibouti, Sept. 6. The MAREXSECRON 2 provides a maritime security force in support of Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, with the capability to effectively and efficiently employ trained and equipped units that provide force protection for designated assets and infrastructure. The squadron is homeported at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Va.
