Sailors from the Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron 2, Boat Detachment Charlie, use an 800-series Sea Ark to conduct a patrol of the Gulf of Tadjoura, Djibouti, Sept. 6. The MAREXSECRON 2 provides an enhanced force package for conducting small craft security and support for maritime expeditionary security operations in harbors, harbor approaches and near shore littoral areas. The squadron is homeported at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Va., and is forward deployed to support Camp Lemonnier.
