Cpl. Sean Litchfield, the chief Marine Corps Instructor of Water Survival at the Cherry Point combat pool, gives the safety brief during the intermediate portion of the new water survival course that replaced the Marine Corps swim qualification at the Cherry Point combat pool Sept. 13. Instead of the typical swim qualification one, two, three and four the qualification has changed to beginner, intermediate and advanced.
