Maj. Gen. Thomas Conant prepares to fly his last AH-1W Super Cobra as the commanding general of 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing aboard Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton Sept. 22. Conant will relinquish command of 3rd MAW to Maj. Gen. Andrew O’Donnell Jr. in a change of command ceremony Sept. 23.
