Maj. Gen. Thomas Conant, commanding general of 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, flies his last AH-1W Super Cobra as commanding general aboard Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton Sept. 22. Conant will relinquish command of 3rd MAW to Maj. Gen. Andrew O’Donnell Jr. in a change of command ceremony Sept. 23.
