The Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. James Amos, fields a question during his address here, Sept. 22. Amos spoke to the Marines and sailors of 3rd Battalion, 6th Marines, presented three awards and recorded a portion of his Marine Corps birthday message while at Camp Hanson. The visit by Amos and Sgt. Maj. Michael Barrett, Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, was part of their battlefield circulation of forward operating bases in southern Helmand.
