U.S. Navy Steelworker 2nd Class Tyler Ault, a Seabee with Construction Diving Detachment Charlie (CDDC) from Underwater Construction Team 2, inspects the newly installed fleet mooring chain on Wake Island on July 26, 2018. CDDC completed emergent repairs to Wake Island's off-shore fuel delivery system after heavy seas disconnected one of the fleet mooring buoys. CDDC is on the first stop of their six month deployment where they are providing construction, inspection, repair, and maintenance of coastal and ocean facilities in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet.
