U.S. Air Force Col. Robert D. Davis accepts the unit guidon, symbolizing being appointed as commander of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson’s 3rd Wing from Air Force Lt. Gen. Kenneth S. Wilsbach, commander of Alaskan North American Aerospace Defense Command Region, North American Aerospace Defense Command; Commander, Alaskan Command, U.S. Northern Command; Commander, Eleventh Air Force, Pacific Air Forces, during a change-of command ceremony held at Hangar 1, JBER, Alaska, Aug. 6, 2018. Prior to accepting command of the 3rd Wing, Davis served as the Office of Security Cooperation security assistance director at the U.S. Embassy, Baghdad, Iraq.
